Choosing a Hotel Management school in Switzerland

Are you planning to study hotel management...or perhaps hospitality, tourism, business or a mix of one or more of these fields in Switzerland?

1. look for accreditation, minimum Accreditation Standard in Switzerland is EduQua. Ask for a listing of accredited hotel schools from the nearest Swiss Embassy or Consulate or you can visit Swiss-hotel-management-Schools.
2. A Bachelor’s Degree in hotel management usually takes three years, Higher Diploma in hotel management is 2 years and Diploma is one year
3. MBA is at least 12 Months.
4. Try to see the Teachers profile and the ratio between teachers and students, so you can see the academic level of each hotel school.
5. During your Education in hotel management in Switzerland you can work for 6 months per year, some schools are not allowed to send their students for Internship, and remember according to Swiss law, your internship should not exceed half of the length of the entire program.
6. Ask school to provide you information on where their graduates are employed.
7. The best way to know about a school are alumni, ask schools to provide you alumni are willing to share their experiences with you.

And remember, less requirements requested, means less quality level program, to be accepted in a good hotel schools its not easy.
