DCT University Center Hospitality Leadership & European Culinary Arts, Switzerland. DCT International Hotel and Business Management School. DCT was founded in 1991 and had its first intake of 20 international students in January 1992 in Lucerne’s classic Hotel Carton-Tivoli building. From this small beginning, the school has expanded its program offerings and partnered with top universities from around the world. To mention some of the main partners: University of Massachusetts (UMass) - USA, Florida International University (FIU) - USA, Johnson & Wales University (J&W) – USA, Oxford Brookes – UK, Holland College, P.E.I., Canada.Today the DCT and Lynn University Switzerland Program campus is located in a modern hotel building in the village of Vitznau, situated in the region of Luzern and directly on the shores of Lake Lucerne.

DCT University Center, DCT International Hotel and Business Management School is located in the village of Vitznau, situated within the international tourism region of Luzern and on the shores of the famous Lake Lucerne. DCT offers a unique choice of academic and professional programs in both the hospitality management and culinary arts fields, including undergraduate diploma and certification programs, post-graduate diploma and MBA studies, and a highly respected U.S. Bachelor’s Degree program delivered directly on the DCT campus in Switzerland by Lynn University (Florida, USA). DCT’s programs are comprehensive, yet accelerated to meet the expectations of students who want to complete a quality education in less time and at less total cost than the traditional university system. DCT is institutionally accredited by the New England Association of Schools and Colleges (NEASC) at the diploma level, and Lynn University is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges & Schools (SACS). The educational excellence of DCT’s programs has also earned recognition through accreditation by the Association of Collegiate Business Schools & Programs (ACBSP), and DCT’s European Culinary Arts program is one of only 22 programs world-wide to be awarded “Exemplary Program” accreditation status by the American Culinary Federation (ACF).
