The School of Art and Media Design, F + F, (German: F+F Schule für Kunst und Mediendesign Zürich) is a School for Art and Media Design in Zurich, a private educational institute, offering courses in the field of fine art and design. F+F was founded in 1971. At present, the school has 220 full-time students. The school is subsidised by the city of Zurich. Art studies at F+F have the status of a nationally recognised higher professional qualification (Art Diploma). Media Design studies are currently undergoing evaluation by the canton, with the objective of official recognition. The High school diploma is not essential for admission to the F+F School, which means that this school offers an alternative to studying at one of the Swiss schools of applied arts.
